The mission of Georgia Women Fly Fishers (GWFF) is to introduce and educate women in the sport of fly fishing in a supportive, noncompetitive environment and to fish and have fun!
GWFF is a non-profit membership organization. We seek to improve and grow the sport of fly fishing in the State of Georgia. Our members encourage, advocate and work toward conserving and improving Georgia's rivers and streams and increasing its legal fish species. We encourage and assist women and young people, particularly those of high-school age, to become fly fishers.
GWFF provides financial support to Back the Brookie - GA Council of Trout Unlimited, The Chattahoochee River Coldwater Fishery Foundation, Project Healing Waters - Atlanta, Fly Fishing for Veterans, Casting for Recovery - Georgia, we established and continue to support the Julie Stalnaker Memorial Fund administered by the Georgia Council of Trout Unlimited at Trout Camp and the Rabun TU Chattooga River Helicopter Stocking - Tom Landreth Memorial Fund.
